Mark Attridge

Dr. Mark Attridge is the President of Attridge Consulting, Inc. since 2007. Mark is a thought leader with deep expertise in the workplace mental health field. He brings a unique scholarly approach to his consulting that derives from his work with leading employee assistance programs (EAP) and healthcare providers, employee benefits consultants, non-profit foundations, industry organizations, and academic researchers. He has developed tools for estimating the business value of workplace health services and ROI.  In his applied practice, Mark has consulted with over 40 clients across the United States, 23 clients from Canada and others internationally. He has written over 300 scholarly papers, industry white papers and conference presentations. He ranks in the top 7% globally for research impact on ResearchGate. His works on EAPs have been downloaded over 91,000 times from the Employee Assistance Digital Archive. His early career included 10 years as principal and research manager at Optum (EAP and NurseLine services), followed by being a national director at Watson Wyatt consulting (employee benefits strategy and analysis of employer healthcare claims data warehouse). He holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a masters degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
