Drew has been an Occupational Health Nurse for over 25 years. Most recently, she accepted the position of Executive Director for the Ontario Occupational Health Nurses Association (OOHNA). Before this, she retired from being the Manager of the Employee Health Unit at the City of Mississauga, where she led a multidisciplinary team of claims and health care professionals in managing the disability and wellness programs for City staff for over 17 years. Drew has a special interest in mental health, resulting from having the honour of representing OOHNA at the technical committee, which created the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace. She has a certificate in Workplace Mental Heath from Queens University and is a facilitator for the Mental Health Commission of Canada for both their Working Mind and the Road to Mental Readiness training programs. She has been a speaker for numerous conferences, including Ontario Municipal Human Resources Association and Osgoode Certificate in Workplace Mental Health Law.
