Workforce Advisory Committee of the Mental Health Commission of Canada

WACMHCC

The Committee was established in 2007 and operated until 2012. Its mandate was to see what could be done to help employers improve the way mental health was addressed in their workplaces. The Committee made significant contributions in many areas of workplace mental health, including leadership and policy development, workplace practices, employment support, peer support and psychological health and safety in the workplace. The Committee wrapped up its work in 2012, when the Commission restructured and the Committee chair became part of an overall advisory council.
