A Meeting of the Minds Leadership Series, from BCalm (the BC Association for living mindfully) is three online sessions leaders can watch to help build their mindfulness and compassion in the workplace.

A meeting of the Minds Leadership Series is based on a research paper | PDF from Dr. Martin Shain. Over the three sessions, leaders will learn to better understand what it means to be a mindful leader and how doing so contributes to a safe workplace.

    • Learn a basic practice of mindful awareness to use a foundation of presence

    • Learn the active practice of compassion and how you can use it as a way of leading

    • Understand the wise compassionate matrix as a mindset to creating psychological safety in the workplace
    • Define your own practice of mindfulness and compassion to support a psychologically safe workplace
