National Cancer Survivors Day
June 7
National Cancer Survivors Day is a global celebration for those who have survived, an inspiration for those recently diagnosed, and a gathering of support for families. Information on organizing an event, including registration, themes, communication strategies, and a list of potential speakers are available online.
Canadian Environment Week
June 1 - 7
This week focuses on the issue of climate change, conservation, and preservation. Although Canadian Environment Week is particular to Canadians, it is encouraged worldwide.
National Blood Donor Week
June 8 - 14
During this week you can encourage staff to give the gift of life by donating blood. If you can, organize a volunteer donor drive at your workplace.
National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples Day
June 21

June 27 marks national post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) awareness day. On this day, we raise awareness and abandon stigma.
