Susan Jakobson is the Principal of Jakobson Consulting & Analytics. As a Certified Psychological Health and Safety Advisor, she works with employers to develop psychologically health and safe workplaces supported by specific mental health strategies. Susan balances the business imperative with workplace health to provide practical and realistic approaches to support employees to be their best. Susan is the lead trainer for the Canadian Standards Association for the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace and is able to customize the requirements of the Standard to any workplace. As a consultant to the Mental Health Commission of Canada and the Canadian Standards Association, Susan has been integral to the development of the new National Standard of Canada for Mental Health and Well-being for Post-secondary Students. She is able to leverage her experience in psychological health and safety in the workplace and apply to post-secondary institutions who are looking towards aligning with the new student standard.
